Is the Simulation Hypothesis Conscious?

In the book, i suggested somewhat different way of divide up the possibilities. The most familiar version of the simulation hypothesis does require that simulated beings be conscious. We would actually leave open another version of the hypothesis, what i call the impure sim hypothesis or the biosim hypothesis. This is an argument that goes through replacing your brain from a biological brain to a digital brain. What i try to argue is that you went through that process in your scious at the beginning, you should still be conscious at the end.
