The Conch in Malcolm's Hair
Shorty put the first conch in Malcolm's hair. The longer you could stand it, the straighter your hair would be. Some men would sit in chairs, squirming and crying to as Malcolm sees it now, it raised their heritage. He was saying there are these stereotypes about black people that we like seasoning and that we like to dance. That's all true.
