Fred miller was looking to buy property in his virginia home town for his large, extended family's frequent get togethers. The house had been built around 18 50 in the gothic revival style by a well known new york architect. Fred lives in california where he works as a civil engineer for the air force, but he visits the family in virginia often. He made an offer of just above the 220 thousand dollar asking price.
