The growth rate scales super linearly with the size of the bacterium. All of these components are scaling sub linearly. So something funny is going on here that leads to this emergent thing happening. And what you start to run up against there is the cell division time starts to look like the time it takes for a ribosome to replicate itself. That's one of several ultimate speed limits on life.
