Scaling in Layers

The bitcoin community, at least to day, understands that scaling in layers approach is important. I think the other aspect is perhaps, in some ways, we're impatient, people expecting lightning to be built to day, you know what i mean. So all f these things we take for granted were built on top of a slowly developing protocol as it got stronger and stronger. And now governments around the world are going to have to choose if they want to shut off the internet or protect bicoin's value.
