Is Dark Energy an Engineering Project?

Daniel Altschuler says dark energy is accelerating the expansion of the universe. He speculates that aliens could be harnessing it to create a cross universe civilization. We don't even know if the multiverse exists, but in principle some aliens might figure out how to manipulate those portals and somehow have a cross universe civilisation.
