What Is the Definition of Slavery?

So if someone says all right you have to talk about slavery for five minutes. The first place my brain can go is okay what kind of thing is the thing that I'm talking about and what are its different pieces or different forms. So after you've thought about where your thing falls you move on to comparison. And then what is my thing like and unlike is the next question. It depends these are not hard and fast rules but the general question is what's it like what's it unlike and by how much.
