What's the Solution to the 2008 Financial Crisis?
The problem is that every time we get a crisis, the government comes in to expand their balance sheet and print money. And then they design, and this is what happened after the 2008 crisis: They come up with a design basically to fight the last war. So they are basically designing a system that's going to prevent the previous bubble. But what they're not doing is they're essentially laying the groundwork for the next bubble...and life finds a way. Water runs downhill. It finds the cracks in the system. That's what's going on right now.
