Is Open Source Better Than Open Source?
Is a closed source bug more likely to be fixed than an open source bug? I don't know that we have statistics. More eyes increase the likelihood of fixing bugs. It also means though that it's more likely that they will be discovered. And so there's are you able to manage all the updates from the piece of open source that you're dependent on in a meaningful and timely way? As you're developing other code for your own customers, can you take new dependencies when they change? How well are you established to manage that if you're a developer? Yeah.
