The Coronation of Harold the Convictor
On december 20 sixth, the second day of christmas, ten 65, edward was taken ill. He turned to harold godwinson, that important earl of wessex from the godwin family. And he asked him to protect the realm and the queen. The very next day, the final day ofchristmas, he was interred, and harold was crowned king. This was the first royal coronation to take place at westminster,. That's where they've all taken place since then.
