The Intimate Relationship With Jesus
The disciples had a privileged place with Jesus. They were able to listen to his voice and participate in his mission. We have a more intimate relationship with him because we've been transformed into his body on earth, also because he's given us his own body and blood. The life of Christ is communicated to those who believe it's communicated through the sacraments. It's truly communicated to us through baptism and then brought out of the waters of Baptism as that resurrection.
