Is There a Recession?
Dr. Kelly: I imagine most of the conversations you're having with institutions on a daily basis, is a recession come up in everyone? Is that like their favorite question? They're like, all right, Dr. Kelly, when is the recession going to happen? It's a more complicated question than it sounds. The actual definition of recession is not too consecutive negative quarters of GDP. So I'd say we're not in recession right now. But if we avoid one, I think it's important to see why.
