Augustan Propaganda

It feels like he's trying to make his own thing there in Egypt, trying to establish something a bit other from Rome. I think it seems a bit other because it didn't happen. And what we get instead is Octavian consolidating power in Italy and constantly talking about I had Italy behind me in that war against that foreign queen who we won't name. So this is his propaganda that I'm kind of parroting. Oh, not quite. But, I mean, I think it would be seen as unusual. It is very weird, but it could have become the new norm.
