The Promising Signs for Aboriginal Interpreters in Australia
There's been a fair bit of judicial training. The Supreme Court of the Northern Territory has organized in 2012, 2015 and 2019. It's organized three language and the law conferences. But I find that there is a great openness among many judicial officers punctuated with a shocking unwillingness to hear anything about it by some others. So every time I start feeling really comfortable and well not comfortable that'd be too strong a word but feeling like this headway then I hear about some unenlightened lawyer or judicial officer who is unwilling to listen and accept these things.
