Shenmue: A Hard Game to Recommend

I feel like this game has been made fun of a lot. The thing that's interesting about it is it came out. It was Sega's Hail Mary. They gave you Suzuki the creator who was an all-star game designer. He had made the entire Virtua series. And in a way, I feel like Shenmue was like they wanted the Dreamcast to be Shenmue. This was an open world game before the term even really existed. A lot of it reminds me weirdly so much of Red Dead 2,. You can go and open a drawer and manipulate each digit in your fingers to pick up an item.
