The Celebration of Juneteenth

Many historians and scholars believe that one of the reasons why that information was held from enslaved people is because the plantation owners wanted the free labor for another cotton harvest. And we definitely know that Juneteenth was always about Texas, but it spread all over the United States. So we have to thank the great migration for so many things.
