The Defense of the Latin Vulgate

The Latin Vulgate was challenged not just by the Reformers, but this starts with the rise of humanism at the end of the Medieval period and with the era of the Renaissance. So when those types of questions were asked, a lot of scholars started to come to conclusions that some of the documents that had been accepted as authentic were just clearly not authentic.
