I lived in Mexico for a summer actually. Not as well as I should. My father speaks excellent Spanish. But the second day I figured out my French teacher spoke French. So we just spoke French the entire time. And at the end, I'm like, well, I can't order from Taco Bell because I don't have enough Spanish for that, but that's okay.
