Kraken has settled with the SEC and will pay 30 million dollars amid allegations that it broke its rules. Kraken was offering staking as a service, where investors could get 4%, 8% or even 21% returns on their tokens. The investing public is not only at risk by the speculative nature of crypto, but they're at risk of ending up in line in a bankruptcy court due to non-compliant platforms.
