The Dominant Culture in the Law School
At Stanford and Yale, the progressive students are the dominant culture in that environment. And then they have this idea that this speech or these actions by this judge are really harming vulnerable people outside of the law school. So if you're sort of a canny lefty, what you want to do is sort of we need to position ourselves for the long haul to win these judicial seats back. But making themselves look bad in this way is hurting their cause in the end.
