Changing the Bicarb Buffer in Response to a Metabolic Demand

The bicarb buffer also is variable. acutely as Roger talked about acutely you just get this equation changing that but chronically the bicarb is going to be adjusted. Let's use that as a segue to talk about the section on respiratory acidosis because this is we've done that we went through the math earlier. We talked about the ability to change the CO2 in response to a metabolic demand. Here he runs the opposite experiment. He says the bimodal buffers are super flexible and really being a very very effective buffer.
