Are You Trying to Make the World a Better Place?
Every decision you take is a choice between good and evil in that sense. The manner in which the world presents itself to you depends on your ethical aim. And so if you're really trying to make the world a better place, let's say, then the more likely it is that the manner in which you might traverse that pathway is going to reveal itself out of an infinite number of possibilities. That's how it works. It's not metaphorical. It's just actually real.
