The Pulsar timing network is trying to detect a background gravitational wave signature. Would Lisa Max help you get a better sense of that background gravitational wave signal? It's very hard to say because as I said earlier, depending on the model that you choose, you will get a signal in a different frequency range. And it's possible that you can detect it with a Pulsar timer array, but not with Lisa Max.
