The way the system is set up isn't that true. a political process and the courts don't have any review of it if trump were impeached he couldn't go to the supreme court to say would you reverse the impeachment the supreme court would say that's political not legal we have no role in it or what the country could be doing god forbid they actually get down to brass tax and prepare for the next election and beat the guy if he runs again. That's the way the system envisions dealing with presidents who do things that a majority of the voters considered to be bizarre bad for the country terrible policy but not crimes these are not crimes so to have been his gotten completely caught
