The Importance of Having a PhD Background
Jen: I've been told that one of the reasons why I'm kind of disadvantaging myself by being too good at explaining is because I make it sound really easy when I explain it. Jen: Even though I do have the background I dive into areas that I'm not super familiar with and there's just so much information you can't be really knowledgeable about everything. There are just a lot more male science communicators than female, she says.
