The Nose Wheel Steering System Didn't Lock.
The report doesn't specifically call out or say anything about the passenger seats. So i'm going to presume that the passenger seats were ok, especially because most passengers were ok and there weren't that many serious injuries. Given the wind related information, the pilots had their decision to proceed with a take off on runway three four right as planned was reasonable. Mountain wave was going on. Again, just like all the sheas kind of and into to cause this accident. That's, yes, i bad luck.
