Hitting a behavior cuts across many unsolved problems. Each of those unsolved problems need to be solved or hers. What we often do, and is not what i recommend, we put the kid on a sticker chart. For each time he doesn't hit, he loses a stickler. If he hits, he gets a sticker. If he doesn't, he gets enough sticker hes. If he gets goody for getting up en for school, gaing dresss on time, et cetera.
