In my private code I have asserts everywhere yeah just there's something pleasant to me pleasurable to me about sort of the dictatorial rule of like this should be true at this point. In many cases picking a number some you know nice brown power of two number and setting it up in there and having an assert saying it's like hey you hit the you hit this limit you should probably think are the choices that you've made around all of this still relevant if somebody's using 10 times more than you thought they would.
