I remember reading a science fiction story as a team called microcosmic God. The scientist created these simple life forms and he had them in like a big aquarium or something. And then he basically just pelted them with plagues and heat and cold. He kept wiping out most of the generations so they could evolve into super intelligent life forms. That's the impression one could take away from our earlier podcast that God is just with the Holy Spirit is just putting us through these paces. But what we're saying now is emphatically not that. We are the ones who make mistakes and God is the one that that corrects.
