What Drives Climate on Earth?

Sunspots don't have a huge impact on global temperatures, but what you seem to be suggesting is that instability is induced by the presence or the lack of presence of sunspots. The level of excitation of this ball of ionized gas, which I guess is what the sun is, is quite highly correlated with sunsp spots. And over short horizons, if there are things like volcanoes, those inherently will be destabilizing to the weather and to crop yields.
