How to Make Fashion More Sustainable

Less than a sixth discarded textiles are actually turned into something new. Recycled polyaster, for example, is made out of plastic bottles. The flip side of sustainability becoming more fashionable is that we have to be really rigorous so we don't end up with loads of green washing. At the end of the day, fashion is an industry designed not just to make us look good, but, shock, horror, to make money.
