The Kingdom of God Is a Secret Known Only by Those to Whom It Is Given
The parable of the sower contains four different types of soil, with different responses to the seed that is sown in them. Jesus then explains his use of parables, the kingdom of God is a secret known only by those to whom it is given. This is to fulfill the judgment spoken of by Isaiah in a passage that is very prominent within the New Testament, Isaiah chapter 6.
