The Importance of Consistency in a Manager
Tottenham have been pretty consistent by their own standards for the last number of years. I think we're very fortunate to have a manager who has other strings to his bow in terms of having good football, long term vision and a positive culture. All those things kind of help build you that grounds well of support that enables you to implement things in the long term. And Conté just didn't have that. It's instructive that although we missed out on the top four last season and it was very disappointing and there were some recriminations. You know, Arteta and his project survived that setback with quite a lot of goodwill retained. Now he is fourth and Spurs fans hating.
