The stomach is probably going to be one of the first sites in which something can get absorbed. The gastric motility, which is how quickly does the gut move things through, can alter that absorption. So if a drug spends more time in the stomach, like a weak acid, for example, it's going to be more likely to get absorbed in the stomach.
