Redeemer began in 1989 but he had been an ordained minister at that point. Tim Keller who's famous for all of these learned books and apologetics is preaching 1500 sermons in a congregation that's only about a hundred people. He was there for nine years about age 25 to 34 has three boys he and Kathy have three boys there any of these 1500 sermons are being delivered to a group where not only two of them when he gets there have any college education they're both elementary school teachers most of the rest of the congregation they have a sixth grade education. In so many ways he saw it as formative for his belief that ministry is always contextualized you're not doing the same
