Is the 21 Million Unit Limit Disputed?

I think it would be unacceptable to alter the limit in any way because that, in my view, is one of the very few absolutely unimpeachable core values of the Bitcoin system. The system was designed specifically to have that cap and to move to the fee market approach. If you look at the numbers, right now the annual revenue of miners is $4.5 billion. It's not that difficult to do the math and see how fees could actually cover the reward right now. Maybe we can dial it back a little bit and still be fine. There's a lot there in this whole discussion. I think it's very interesting.
