When I went to college, I thought I was going to be a doctor. My dad wanted me to get an MD PhD and be like a medical school professor. And it gives you a sense of the standards of excellence to which he held his three children. By the way, neither of my parents were underprivileged. They came to the United States as a land of opportunity, a land of democracy.
