Jorbs: The main thesis of the book is that the long term fear that people have now with chat GPT and so forth is that AI is getting more and more clever. He also object against the notion of artificial intelligence, which he says was invented in the 1950s to get funding for this type of research. Jorbs: In my view, what it is is just applied mathematics based on the principles invented at the end of the 18th century by Lejeune, Regales and others where they invented regression.
