What Is the Problem With Israel's Supreme Court
Israel has a unicameral legislature with no check on executive or parliamentary authority. Israel's supreme court in the late 1990s essentially Arrogated to itself The power of judicial review and announced that it would now declare whether or not certain laws passed by the Knesset were were not Unconstitutional or unreasonable. There is there is judicial review without any representative check on Israel's Supreme Court It just announces that such and such policy Should or law should be considered unconstitutional and throws it out. So Serious scholars and serious people who are worried about this have been pushing back on this for more than two decades.
