The Buddha Dhamma - A Brief History of the World's Suffering

I spend six months of my year in India working amongst people who have come from a background of extreme social oppression. Something like 60%, 80% of Indians are deprived of safe drinking water. That's a very material problem but it actually would be relatively easy for India to sort that out. It's not sorted out because of attitudes of oppression, of selfishness,. which stand in the way of simple measures being taken to deal with it.
