"There are lots of things that are wrong with the American political system, but it hasn't failed," he says. "I feel like in the when I was just watching Michael Moore's documentary, where to invade next? And I feel like maybe the rest of the world is becoming more like this." He adds: "You cannot understand the Donald Trump phenomenon if you do not understand the incredibly important role that race plays in American politics"
