Christian Fundamentalism in American Politics

The first wave was really to kind of strike back against progressive religious movement. This go round it said, society is a whole. I don't want anything to do with this modernization and this progressivism that's going on. And forget religion, like we want to get involved in government and we're going to do it in a big way.
