Are We Losing That Groundwork?

Do we even really have a common culture in the united states? And i also don't know that it's possible for a nation to remain together when we have such divergence. The most important thing to realize is that this world view, as we may call it, is so deeply imbedded in our consciousness, in the habits of our lives and in our social ticis. To question one's world view is to question reality itself.
