Oregon Preservation for Clinical T to N Zero Just for Rectal Cancer

The aim of this study was to look at both functional and oncologic outcomes a patient who underwent new agent chemo radiation therapy and local excision with stage two, N zero rectal cancer. At the end of the study 91% of patients had preserved their rectum so clinical T two and zero being treated and preserving the rectum. And then looking at quality of life metrics were stable over a one year, one year time period and so they concluded that was adequate for quality of life.
