The old model of the record labels is not quite the same thing as it used to be when i was growing up. So we're seeing less and less artists sign with these record labels. And the independent artist just become a much, much larger audience in population. Technology enables them to record their music at home, or for cheap in a studio,. which how they get their music on to o these streaming services.
