The Importance of Automation in the PMO Setting
PMOs are a fantastic sort of problem solving part of the organization. However, those processes tend to be very clunky and very admin heavy. And that's really where automation kind of comes in for us because we've moved on in two ways. Firstly, automation is easier than ever before. And secondly, our PMOs have grown up from being inside a temporary project to being a central part of longer running programs or even at the enterprise level. So there's a better return on investment now if we can automate some of that stuff.
