Is There Something to Be Gained From This?
This is an angle of left wing critique of colonial ism and racism that isn't actually that intuitive to people to day, like the idea that there's something to be gained by acknowledging and trying to overcome this pseudo humanism. And in a time when i think that some of the dominant main stream discourse on racism and imperialism is just assuming that there's nothing to be gained out of resolving these problems,. it just seems to me that these are different registers that marka shift and how the left thinks about this problem.
