The Order Setting a Trial Date for Donald Trump
CNN's Jim Acosta says he was asked to talk about a brief filed in the Donald Trump trial. A sentence from the introduction of that brief was read to him on air, and he didn't know what to make of it. It looks like there is a plea agreement for two counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax - something like $1.2 million. And then separately, there's an agreement for pretrial diversion, meaning a charge could be filed with respect to Hunter Biden's purchase of a gun while knowingly being under the influence of narcoticswhile being an addict.
