The biggest critique I would have of ourselves is that sometimes it works right out of the gate. Sometimes you can spend two years building a product in a cave and never talk to a single user, and it's perfect. And you immediately get product market fit. But we have enough data points that it seems like insane of us to ever recommend that strategy. The best YC partners are very careful with how forcefully they give the YC advice.
