God, I Want You to Create in Me a Clean Heart
Many times when we have sinned, guilt is consuming us. We try to create a clean heart in ourselves by doing penance or good works. But God has to do that through the power of his son Jesus Christ and the blood he has cast over our sins at the cross. So as we place our faith in him and we trust in Jesus anew after a time of sin, he is once again forgiving us and creating us a clean heart.
